Just in time for Women’s History Month.

Edwina Dumm was a pioneer. She was the first full-time female political cartoonist in the United States and she enjoyed success on multiple fronts with her syndicated strips and career in illustration. Her best known work was Cap Stubbs and Tippie, which ran for almost 50 years — from 1918 to 1966.
A new collection of Cap Stubbs and Tippie, printing the strips from 1945, is due 3/7, from the Library of American Comics, Dean Mullaney’s IDW imprint.
LOAC Essentials Vol. 11: Cap Stubbs and Tippie, 1945 prints each strip on a horizontal page so you can really enjoy the experience.
