Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension
Warlord by Mike Grell Omnibus Vol. 1, DC. As the description shouts, “REMASTERED AND COLLECTED IN COLOR LIKE NEVER BEFORE!” Includes 1st Issue Special #8, The Warlord #1-36, and a new introduction and cover by Grell.

—
Detective Comics #1104, DC. This entertaining title is sort of a latter-day Brave and the Bold, with DC Universe co-stars popping up. As The Courage That Kills storyline, by Tom Taylor and Mikel Janin, plays out, it looks like Batman’s gonna need help from the Scarecrow.

—
Green Lantern #30, DC. Speaking of The Brave and the Bold, Batman’s first co-star was Green Lantern, in 1965’s Issue #59. But you knew that.

—
The Flash #28, DC. Ethan Young gives us an Eisner-esque variant that also recalls Carmine Infantino’s famed 1967 The Flash #174 cover.

—
Star Wars #8, Marvel. Does anyone know just how many of these action-figure covers John Tyler Christopher has done? Man! (Also: Written by our pal Alex Segura!)

Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension
Rom Epic Collection: The Original Marvel Years Vol. 3, Marvel. More classic Spaceknight adventures collected for the first time in trade paperback.

—
Marvel Masterworks: The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 27, Marvel. Finishing up the 1980s Spidey run by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz! Hobgoblin, Silver Sable, the Sinister Syndicate – all good stuff!

—
1776 #2, Marvel. Happy to see the return of Morgan le Fey, one of the best and most underrated Avengers baddies.
