Scott and Dan pick the comics they’re most looking forward to…

Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension
Batman & Robin: Year One #5, DC. Dick gets up to no good (I’m sure) when he’s left to his own devices at Wayne Manor.
Pretty cool Bruno Redondo variant:
—
Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #36, DC. Batman, Robin, Superman, Aquaman and Swamp Thing against the Floronic Man. Yeah, that’s cool.
—
Batman: Dark Patterns #1, Second Printing, DC. If you missed out the first time around, pick this up. Here are 13 REASONS to Read BATMAN: DARK PATTERNS.
—
Catwoman #73, DC. I haven’t said enough about Frank Cho’s fab Catwoman variant covers.
—
Crisis on Infinite Earths #11 Facsimile Edition, DC. Getting down to the final stretch.
—
The X-Men #132 Facsimile Edition, Marvel. Continuing the Dark Phoenix Saga by Claremont, Byrne and Austin.
—
Batman #611 Facsimile Edition, DC. More Hush!

Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension
Guardians of the Galaxy Epic Collection Vol. 2: Quest for the Shield, Marvel. I honestly didn’t think the original Guardians had enough appearances to fill one of these collections.
—
DC Finest: Harley Quinn — Birth of the Mirth, DC. I can’t vouch for a lot of the stories in this collection, but if you don’t have Paul Dini and Bruce Timm’s classic Mad Love in your library, this is worth buying for that alone.
Dan adds: This one covers a lot of early ground, so if you’re into Harley, this is a helpful collection. You can get the lineup here.
—
Zatanna #1, DC. I will always give a new Zatanna series a shot. Jamal Campbell writes and draws.
Dan adds: There are a bunch of variants. I’d take this one by Sozomaika:

That Joelle Jones launched Catwoman series is still going? Wow. Catwoman series just hang around for a long time doing their thing. I wonder how close we are to 300 issues?

This second Guardians of the Galaxy Epic Collection includes the rest of the original Guardians’ 70s/80s appearances and starts their 1990 series. That series went on for 62 issues and 4 Annuals.

I remember reading the X-Men issue in my dorm room in college. I had to go somewhere so I walked down the hall reading the comic! Tt was that good1 And the artwork was incredible! Oh and the Sozomaika Zatanna reminds me of Cher!
