Hawkman #4 Facsimile Edition, DC. The selling point is that it’s the first appearance of Zatanna. And that’s cool but Silver Age Hawkman is the best Hawkman, so getting this gem of a comic by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson is both ginchy and gear.

Death in the Family: Robin Lives! #4, DC. Will Robin live happily ever after? I tend to doubt it.

Marvel Masterworks: Man-Thing Vol. 1, Marvel. This should have been in stores last year for the premiere of Werewolf by Night on Disney+, but I’ll take what I can get.

The Incredible Hulk Epic Collection Vol. 20: Future Imperfect, Marvel. Not only the high point of Peter David and Gary Frank’s Hulk run, but also includes David and George Perez’s fantastic, apocalyptic epic Future Imperfect.

Elseworlds: Justice League Vol. 3, DC Comics. Includes World’s Funnest, the epic Bat-Mite/Mr. Mxyzptlk battle written by Evan Dorkin.
