Scott and Dan pick the comics they’re most looking forward to…

Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension
Justice League of America #1 Facsimile Edition, DC. I’m surprised it took them this long! Wanna see Kerry Callen’s clever take on this classic? Click here.
There are foil and sketch versions, too. I especially dig the sketch cover:

Gatchaman #2, Mad Cave. Still buying on spec until I finish the original Japanese series. We’re almost there: just the movie to go!

Here’s to You, Charlie Brown Facsimile Edition, Titan. By the way, I’m solo this week and next because Scott’s conventioneering his way across the Wild West. Anyway, a Facsimile Edition of an early-’60s Peanuts paperback? I am SO in! I read those things to death when I was a kid!

The Amazing Spider-Man #54, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Variant, Marvel. I saw Deadpool and Wolverine and loved it. Not sure how much it will stand up to repeat viewings because so much of it relies on the element of (hilarious) surprise. That said, I do want to watch it with subtitles because it’s so rapid-fire (pun intended) that I’m sure I missed 100 gags. But the reason I dig this cover is because I’m a sucker for any appearance of the Spider-Mobile. Good on ya, Javier Garron!

Super excited for the Snoopy reprints. Take “facsimile” out of the title so Amazon’s (lacking) search tool can find it. Looks like there are more to come too! https://www.amazon.com/Peanuts-Heres-You-Charlie-Brown/dp/1787742695
