Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Special #1, DC. I didn’t know DC was doing movie tie-in comics for Aquaman. I may have to check this out.
—
JLA/JSA: Virtue and Vice, DC. I haven’t read this since it first came out back in 2002, but I seem to remember it being pretty good.
—
Return of Superman 30th Anniversary Special #1, DC. The original creative teams reunite to tell all-new stories set during the Death of Superman event, including talents such as Dan Jurgens, Louise Simonson, Jerry Ordway, Karl Kesel, Brett Breeding, Jon Bogdanove, Doug Hazlewood and more. Color me intrigued.
Dan adds: Dig the quartet of variants!

Adventures Into Terror, Vol. 1, Fantagraphics. I have never read any of Atlas’ (that’s Marvel in the 1950s, don’t you know) 1950s horror comics, characterized as being the “B-movies” to EC Comics’ legendary horror lineup. But with work from folks like George Tuska, Carl Burgos, Mike Sekowsky, Joe Maneely, Basil Wolverton, Russ Heath and Joe Sinnott, I think I have to give this a look.

Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale Daredevil Gallery Edition, Marvel. A near treasury-size hardcover reprinting the classic Daredevil: Yellow. Beautiful.

Those variant “S”-themed covers for the “Return of Superman” one-shot are as fascinating as the main cover itself.
