Star Trek: Year Five #25, IDW. Great idea. An epilogue final issue that bridges the gap between the end of the five-year mission and Star Trek: The Motion Picture, by all the folks who worked on this title. Energize.

Defenders #3, Marvel. Dig the Joe Jusko variant, reprinting one of his classic Marvel trading cards. Dude does a great Namor. Easily one of his best characters.

Batman ’89 18-Inch Action Figure, NECA. If you have the room and the means ($142.99, list), clear some space for this foot-and-a-half-tall Michael Keaton action figure. Has 20 points of articulation and a collection of Bat-accessories to take you back to 1989.

The Amazing Spider-Man #75, Marvel. Spider-clone Ben Reilly is back and operating full-time as Spider-Man again! Where are Peter and MJ? My curiosity is piqued.

Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1, DC Comics. I always loved the 100-Page Super Spectaculars from DC; glad to see them back. Of the stack of variant covers available for this one, I’d have to go with this sweet Golden Age version from Amy Reeder.

Are You Afraid of Darkseid #1, DC Comics. This Halloween-themed anthology special looks like a lot of fun, and I love that cover.

That “Amazing Spider-Man” cover is absolute epicness!
