HOLIDAY HOT PICKS: Funko’s PINT-SIZE HEROES

I like cute. More than I would have thought.

I like goofy and kitschy and definitely funny, but I never really thought of myself as a connoisseur of cute.

And then this box of Pint-Size Heroes from Funko showed up at 13th Dimension’s secret HQ. And these things aren’t just cute, they’re goofy, kitschy and definitely funny.

There are three series right now: Batman, Spider-Man and Steven Universe. (I got an assortment of Batman and Spidey figures, which are right in my wheelhouse.)

Each blind bag (about $4 a pop) contains one 1 1/2-inch figure — and many are done up in the character’s classic look: Peter Parker in dorky glasses? Check. Batman in blue and gray? Check? Doc Ock with a Ditkovian bowl cut? Check. There are even retailer exclusives, including a 1966 Batman.

These guys are the perfect stocking stuffer (menorah minder?) this holiday season.
