In advance of the Green Arrow 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular this week…
DC on Monday released a special six-page story dedicated to the late Denny O’Neil — who died in 2020 at the age of 81 — written by his son Larry O’Neil with art by Jorge Fornes and colors by Dave Stewart.
The mostly silent tale, called “Tap Tap Tap,” will appear in Tuesday’s Green Arrow 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1 — but is already available for free on the DC Universe Infinite app.
O’Neil, naturally, was one of Green Arrow’s greatest writers who, along with artist Neal Adams, created the seminal “Hard Travelin’ Heroes” storyline of the early ’70s, starring GA, Green Lantern and Black Canary:

Thought-provoking and heartbreaking. A fitting tribute to someone who brought that to his stories.
