FIRST LOOK: Dig the NEAL ADAMS Store’s EXCLUSIVE Artist’s Edition Covers

There will be two of ’em to add to IDW’s main releases…

You mighta caught a glimpse of them during the Neal Adams Store’s most recent Facebook show, but here they are in full, high-res glory.

Dig this FIRST LOOK at the store’s two EXCLUSIVE covers for October’s Neal Adams DC Classics Artist’s Edition:

Yep, Batman #251 and Superman #233 — to go with IDW’s regular releases featuring Batman #232 and Green Lantern #76:

Each Adams Store exclusive will have a print run of 100 each. The price hasn’t been set yet, but we will update you on that as soon as we get the info. (The IDW editions list for $150 each.)

In the meantime, click here for the Neal Adams Store, which sells original art and other Adams items. And in case you missed it, IDW confirmed to us that the book is still a go, despite editor Scott Dunbier’s departure.

  1. So, are these are reprints of the original comics issues with these “ new” covers, or something else?

    • These are Artist’s Editions. High-end, oversize books that reprint in high-definition the original art. The edition will have four covers to choose from: IDW will have two and the Adams store will have two.

  2. Bummer…I’d had much rather gotten the BATMAN 251 cover. I’m betting those sell out fast. As it is I got the GL/GA one at considerable discount off Amazon.

  3. Price is $100 more for one of the Adams store exclusives – quite a premium

    Batman 251? Will probably sell out

    Supes? I’d rather have Green Lantern and save the $100
