Al Williamson’s classic artistic interpretation of the Star Wars sequel hits stores 7/13 from IDW — and we have an EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK!
The original, of course, was a Marvel production from 1980, printed in individual issues and magazine form. Archie Goodwin handled the script and Williamson handled the art, with assists from Carlos Garzon and Rick Veitch.
The Artist’s Edition, edited by Scott Dunbier, includes the full story, plus the complete Star Wars #98, a Han Solo story. There’s also Return of the Jedi material and assorted miscellany. The oversized book — 160 pages at 15 x 22 — will run you between $125-$150, depending on where you get it, so shop around.
