I bought the first edition last year on a whim (click here for a close-up look) and it’s magnificent. I’ve been waiting for the second edition ever since — because for my money Kamandi is Kirby’s best DC work. I know that’s heresy among New Gods fans, but the heart wants what the heart wants.
So dig this glimpse. The hardcover itself is 144 pages at a full-scale 12 x 17. It’ll run you in the $100-$115 range, depending on where you get it.
