Many thoughts:

— Obligatory Price Comparison #1. It’s interesting that Detective Comics #475 is getting another shot. I still hope that the next issue, which concluded the story (and the Steve Englehart/Marshall Rogers/Terry Austin run) gets a release at some point. In any event, last time we got a Facsimile of this one (2020), there were neither a foil nor a logo sketch cover, so yay. An unslabbed, high-grade 1977 original recently sold on eBay for about $125. The 2020 Facsimile goes for about $10-$25.
— Obligatory Price Comparison #2. An unslabbed, high-grade original 1986 The Dark Knight Returns #2 recently sold for $75 on eBay.
— Obligatory Price Comparison #3. An unslabbed, NM- original 1987 Detective Comics #576 went for about $47.
— Obligatory Price Comparison #4. An unslabbed original Wonder Woman #1 is pretty much impossible to find. An 8.0 slabbed copy sold for $120,000, including buyer’s premium through Heritage Auctions in 2020. The 2023 Facsimile Edition will run you about $7.50. (There were foil and logo sketch covers too.)

During its first time getting a facsimile I really wanted DETECTIVE COMICS #475. But it just felt empty not having the next issue, let alone the entire run of Strange Apparitions.
That being said, DC has long past due needed to reprint the entire run, going back years now! I’m hoping we at least get it in the Bronze Age omnibus volumes.
