Gonna be a great summer in 2024…
In May we reported that Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli’s seminal Batman: Year One would be getting an Artist’s Edition from IDW and DC in 2024. Now, it appears a price and release date have been set: The 144-page oversize hardcover will go for $150 and is due July 2, 2024, according to online listings.

This is an art book featuring rare and beautiful imagery, a collection for connoisseurs of the form. Chip Kidd, the legendary designer, will be guiding the look of the project.

This is the book that I’m most looking forward to in 2024. I’m hoping they eventually do one for Darwyn Cooke’s “DC: The New Frontier” too.
