EXCLUSIVE: The Man Without Fear’s 1964 first appearance rates the full-on reprint treatment…
Marvel pioneered the modern-day Facsimile Edition and has to date published approximately 1,000,006 full-on reprints of various comics featuring first appearances, landmark moments and seminal storylines.
But one classic yet to get the treatment is 1964’s Daredevil #1, by Stan Lee and Bill Everett, with a Jack Kirby and Everett cover.
Until this February, that is.
Dig the solicitation info, due to be formally released by Marvel later this week:

A few thoughts:
— It is rather remarkable that we’ve not gotten this Facsimile yet. I think I checked four different ways to confirm that’s the case because I couldn’t believe it.
— February 2024 was DD’s 60th anniversary, so why didn’t we get one of these then? My guess is the House of Ideas was waiting for the premiere of the new Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, which is now scheduled for March 2025. That’s how these Facsimiles often work.
— I don’t care what anyone says: The yellow outfit is bitchin’.
— There are two other Facsimile Editions coming from Marvel in February. Click here for the lowdown.
— Obligatory Price Comparison: An unslabbed, very nice copy of an original Daredevil #1 recently sold on eBay for $3,085.
