CLAYFACE: The Original Goo Goo Muck

DESPOP TUESDAYS!

Keeping with the Batman: The Animated Series theme from the last couple of weeks — Detective Comics #27 done Timm-style and Renee Montoya being a badass — we present a gallery of that shape-shifting muckety-muck Clayface.

He does have a movie coming out, after all:

That middle illo is adapted from the Paul Dini-Bruce Timm story Jolly Ol’ St. Nicholas, in the 1994 comic The Batman Adventures Holiday Special #1. The story was also made into Holiday Knights, a 1997 episode of The New Batman Adventures.

(By the way, the shape-shifting version of Clayface dates alllllll the way back to 1961.)

And, oh hey! Timm’s birthday is Thursday. What a coincidence!
