Foil covers are getting hotter, so Archie’s bringing a couple more aboard for Life With Archie #42… Archie Comics has only recently begun adding foil variants to its line of Facsimile Editions, but they’re clearly a success because the publisher is adding two more for the Life With Archie #42 Facsimile Edition — featuring 1965’s debut of Pureheart the Powerful — at the last minute before final order cutoff. We were first with March’s solicitation, which boasted the original Silver Age cover and two variants overall, including one foil by Steven Butler: But, now, the original cover by Bob White will also be offered in foil, as will Dan Parent and Tito Pena’s variant: The regular covers will run $4.99 each and the foils will go for $7.99 apiece.
