Mike Grell’s seminal miniseries will be remastered for the high-end release… Mike Grell’s landmark 1987 miniseries Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters is set to be released as a high-end Absolute Edition — the first time the story has been presented in the format. Not only that, the book will be remastered from original art. DC has not solicited it yet and it does not appear on any retailer site or in any catalogue. But Alex Galer, the publisher’s collected editions editor posted a note in The Mike Grell Page Facebook group in late May: “Hi all! I am the editor of the upcoming Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters: Absolute Edition at DC Comics. We will be remastering the book, and I was wondering if anyone had original artwork from the landmark series. If so, I would love to showcase it in the book and use the artwork in the remastering. I really appreciate your time and help! “(And any related material you think would be nice to include with the book, I am all for!) “Thank you so much!” And that’s all we know. For now.
