The patron wanted me to create a cover showing how Ghost Rider would disapprove of such things like the “Billionaire’s Row” of towers in New York City. I drew the black linework, including the logo and such, on Bristol board. You can tell if you scrutinize the lettering. SUNDAY FUNNIES WITH KERRY CALLEN! In the earliest days of the Golden Age, everyone was ripping each other off, and sometimes it even made its way to court. Like so: Cheeky. Here’s Kerry: I’ve edited this Wonder Woman/Star-Spangled Kid commission slightly. I digitally added pink briefs to Wonder Woman for internet viewing. Even though I think casual nudity is often hilarious, much of the world does not. I try not to (overly) offend when there’s no real need to do so. Naturally, the joke is dependent on the viewer knowing that Wonder Woman’s outfit has a star pattern on her bottom half, much like Star-Spangled Kid’s top.
