The Golden Age version! Catman is one of my favorite Silver Age/Bronze Age C-List Batman villains. He was always entertaining when he showed up, which became more frequent to the degree that he developed a bona fide cult following this century. But that’s not who this is about. This is about the Golden Age Cat-Man, whom we’re honoring with 13 COVERS. (They do look alike, though.) Why? Because it’s National Respect Your Cat Day, silly! Cat-Man was created by artist Irwin Hasen and an unknown writer in 1940’s Crash Comics Adventures and lasted into 1946, picking up sidekick Kitten along the way.
