ARCHIE COMICS’ Publishing Line Is Evolving This Fall

EXCLUSIVE DETAILS: Change is afoot in Riverdale…

Archie Comics this fall is revamping its classic-style publishing line with a new digest series that’ll be based on seasons/holidays and that will be on stands longer.

The new slate, which is being adjusted month-to month, actually kicks off Aug. 20 with the release of Archie Comics Digest #1, which will be fewer pages, taller in height and slimmer in width than previous digests, similar to the publisher’s popular supermarket puzzle books.

Archie Comics Digest starts out as a bi-monthly and the first issue will have a Halloween theme. October’s Issue #2 will be Christmas-focused. In addition, the previously announced Sabrina, the Teen-Age Witch #1 Facsimile Edition has been moved from August to November, and there will be a new Josie one-shot coming that month.

  1. Archie are fun, but I really miss their horror title Afterlife With Archie.

  2. Congrats and kudos for making Salem look very realistically cat-like. From the stretch to the positioning of the paws to the face he is every inch like the inquisitive kitties that happily prowl in my house–even around my comics! And I see Sabrina has the same supplier for her potion ingredients as Doctor Raven, I mean, Doctor Craven!
