An INSIDE LOOK at CRYPTOLOGY — TwoMorrows’ Delightfully Ooky New Horror Mag

Think of it as the RetroFan of Woo-Woo…

TwoMorrows’ latest magazine, Cryptology, is shipping now — in time for Halloween. The mag pays homage to classic horror comics, movies, TV shows and whatnot, with the same winking, joyful style as the publisher’s RetroFan.

Wanna see what we mean? Keep reading. Below is the introductory column by the requisite magazine mascot/narrator — The Cryptologist — that explains the publication’s raison d’etre. (I have no idea who this mysterious character is, but it can’t possibly actually be Editor-in-Chief Peter Normanton, could it? Nah!)

After that, we give you the table of contents and first page of every feature in the inaugural issue of the quarterly. That should provide you with a really good idea of what to expect.

So, if you dig 13th Dimension, you’ll dig this, because you’ll see there’s a lot there that shares DNA with what we do here, such as our REEL RETRO CINEMA column and this year’s new FRIGHTFUL FRIDAYS.

Far out.

Cryptology is available now at comics shops and directly from TwoMorrows. It lists for $10.95 and you can order here or subscribe.

  1. I’m not a fan of horror so this magazine isn’t speaking to me. But if TwoMorrows is publishing it, you can be sure it will be of high quality.
