The late, great Dan DeCarlo — born Dec. 12, 1919 — was the greatest artist Betty and Veronica have ever known. I will brook no dissent.
You can make all the cheesecake comics and innuendo gags you want, but I’m talking fashion. B&V never looked better than under DeCarlo’s watch, particularly in the Silver and Bronze Ages. Part of it was down to his tremendous talent, but part of it was also down to the influence of his model wife Josie, who provided him fashion pubs to draw from.
So dig this 13 COVERS birthday salute, stretching from 1966 to 1975.
