Dig the solicitation info, which will be officially released by Marvel later this month:

Several thoughts:

— The lead story is by Lee and Buscema, and inked by Joe Sinnott. The Watcher back-up is by Lee, Colan and Paul Reinman.

— Marvel is re-publishing the first seven issues of the series. As I’m sure I’ve noted, I’ve never read these, and I am beyond excited to get into them.

— Damn, I bet that cover (possibly colored by Marie Severin) will look good in foil.

Obligatory Price Comparison: An unslabbed original in nice shape recently sold on eBay for $500, which is, y’know, cheaper than your soul, at least.

  1. Surfer 3 is my all time favorite comic book. Still have the reader copy I bought way back when. Sinnott told me it was his favorite job over Buscema.
