The beloved artist turns 96!

Who doesn’t love Ramona Fradon? Nobody!

Fradon was born 96 years ago on Oct. 2, 1926, and is one of the last living links to the Golden Age. She’s best known for her work at DC Comics — particularly Aquaman, Metamorpho and Super Friends in the Silver and Bronze Ages — and on the Brenda Starr newspaper strip.

We’ve celebrated Fradon in the past with 13 COVERS or 13 SPLASH PAGES, but this year we’ve trawled the web for some of her grooviest sketches.
