As I mentioned here (and here and here for that matter), Kamandi was most definitely my favorite of Kirby’s DC work. On this page from Issue #1, the Last Boy on Earth — and we readers — find out just how crazy this world is.
Kirby’s pencils are first. Royer’s inks are second. I’ve stacked them so that you can see them in much bigger size than if I placed them horizontally:

You know what I wish? I wish some of Jack’s inkers had the time to actually ink the shadows and blacks Jack spotted as he drew them…you can pick up subtle tones of dark in all those great shadings of his!!!
