We lost one of the last links to the Golden Age of comics this week with the death of Irwin Hasen at age 96. Here’s our 13 COVERS tribute.
Irwin Hasen is best known for co-creating the comic strip Dondi with Gus Edson, as well as co-creating Wildcat with Bill Finger in Sensation Comics #1. Because of the nature of those characters, there aren’t many Hasen covers featuring them. So we begin with a glimpse of those stalwarts.
