Incredible Hulk #120 features one of my favorite Herb Trimpe covers. He was such a great artist.

Looking at these covers…
There’s quite a body of work that was Herb Trimpe’s that I didn’t realize he had done. The Creatures on the Loose cover which Trimpe did, introduced one of my favorite characters, King Kull.
It really feels like the Silver Age artists are passing to soon.
We still have Neal Adams, Steve Ditko and Jim Steranko…Ramona Fradon, Rich Buckler with us.
It’s way past time for the Corporate Two to acknowledge them, and their works.
We’ve only recently seen them add credits to Spider-Man and the X-Men.
How about characters that are media sensations like Black Widow, Star-Lord, Elektra, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Hawkeye…?
Wouldn’t that be a better homage to creators like Herb Trimpe?
