13 COVERS: The Golden Age of JUNGLE GIRLS

EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: Yoe Books swings in…

Been awhile since we’ve had a funky Yoe Books/IDW volume to show off to you, but it’s been worth the wait: Jungle Girls — a lusty look at the lurid genre of women in loin cloths battling poachers, beasts and other denizens of the bush — is out Feb. 13.

The hardcover, edited by Mitch Maglio and Craig Yoe, includes an intro by Dr. Sheeha (!) Howard and features some of the most provocative covers and seductively scintillating stories of the Golden Age, by the likes of Frank Frazetta, Matt Baker, Jack Kamen, Al Feldstein and Sheldon Moldoff. (And more!)

So as a SNEAK PEEK, dig these 13 COVERS — and a handful of sinful splashes — culled from the book:

Now, as promised, a BONUS selection of splash pages:

Jungle Girls, a 160-page hardcover from Yoe Books/IDW, is out Feb. 13. It lists for $29.99.

  1. Fascinating! I’ve never held an interest in “jungle girls” but have to admit this was all pretty absorbing.
