A BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE to a comics great…
The comics world lost one of its favorites when Ramona Fradon — born Oct. 2, 1926 — died in February at the age of 97.
But it’s Fradon’s birthday, so we salute her again. She wasn’t the most prolific cover artist but she drew the lion’s share of the 1970s Super Friends fronts.
We haven’t featured her work on the title in some time, so this year’s 13 COVERS tribute spotlights the series, which has earned a cult following as the years have gone on.
