13 COVERS: It’s APRIL FOOLS’ DAY With… THE PRANKSTER

I mean, I’m really into seasonal rituals and whatnot, but this “holiday” is kind of a pain in the ass, isn’t it?

But it is the perfect occasion for 13 COVERS… so dig this gallery starring the villain who should never pose a challenge to Superman — the Prankster!

  1. First read The Prankster in “Superman From the 30s to the 70s.” Always imagined Frank Nelson (“Yeeeeeessss?”) doing his voice!

    • That’s where I first encountered the Prankster as well. The story that teamed Luthor, The Toyman and The Prankster together.

  2. Out of all of those covers, I was probably most pleasantly surprised to see that Whitman Superman coloring book featuring the Prankster. That looks like a lot of fun!

    • This unlocked a memory of me having that coloring book! Most of my childhood coloring books survived into today, so I’m not sure where that one ran off to.

  3. First time I read a Prankster story was the last issue of Wanted, #9! Off the spinner rack in Alabama for 20 cents.
