Happy Birthday to Mrs. Fradon! Super Friends was my favorite comic back in the day, and I recently got the two hard cover editions that were released!

Loved the Super Friends comic as a kid, and still do (never saw the show to this day, being in the UK!) and lot of that was to do with Ramona Fradon’s art. As an adult, finally got myself a sweet commission from her!

Let’s not forget that she will be primarily remembered for the decades long stint as the artist on the BRENDA STARR comic strip more than she will any of her comic book work. One of the few women to draw an adventure syndicated comic strip.
