Mignola, I don’t have to tell you, is best-known for the rich world of Hellboy he’s created at Dark Horse (and on screen) with a select group of fellow travelers. Wonderful all that.
But in selecting 13 COVERS for this birthday salute, I’ve decided to go in the opposite direction and pick from his work at Marvel and DC. It’s just so much fun to see those characters done up in Mignola’s style.
