Did you see this last week? Mike Grell’s variant cover for Green Arrow #30?

I love it. Which makes sense given that it’s an homage to his cover for Green Lantern #90 from 1976.

Well, as it happens, Grell was born Sept. 13, 1947. So with his birthday upon us, it didn’t take me three seconds to figure out which of his many series to choose from for this year’s 13 COVERS salute.

Right. Green Lantern — co-starring Green Arrow.
