Marie Severin was born Aug. 21, 1929. Her contributions to comics art are legion.
Marie Severin had a storied career and was a pioneer for women in comics. She’s one of comics’ best known colorists and spent years with EC before becoming a Marvel mainstay. Here, we celebrate her work as a penciller at the House of Ideas. (She co-created Spider-Woman, by the way.)
(Usual caveat applies: This is a subjective list of covers that jump out at me. You may have others to add. Feel free to do so in the comments or in the social media thread where you found this!)

Excellent selection! Marie Severin has drawn so many amazing covers that it must have been a challenge to choose only thirteen. One of my favorites by her is the cover to The Cat #1 with inking by Wally Wood…

All of the covers for Not Brand Echh that Severin worked on were wonderful. She was so great with humorous material. Glad you included three of them on your list.
