The late, great Marvel powerhouse was born 94 years ago…

When you think of John Buscema and pulp heroes, you automatically think of Conan the Barbarian, right? I do.

But don’t forget that Big John — who was born 94 years ago on Dec. 11, 1927 — also had a well-respected run on Marvel’s late-’70s Tarzan series, so that’s where this year’s 13 COVERS birthday salute is coming from.
