No, not Manos: The Hands of Fate. It’s the questionably attired Kismet: Man of Fate, the world’s first Muslim superhero — published by a team of Jewish creators!
The first volume of Super Weird Heroes, a collection of outrageously outlandish superhero stories is coming your way 11/16 from Yoe Books and IDW — and we’re serializing some of the niftiest parts for what we like to cleverly call … 13 DAYS OF SUPER WEIRD HEROES!
The book (which you can pre-order here) features 320 pages of unintentionally campy superheroing. Each character gets a historical profile and complete story. So every day for 13 days, we’ll be featuring the likes of Captain Hadacol, Cat-Man, Nature Boy and the Hand — straight from the book! We’ll be showing off Craig Yoe’s rundown of the character, a splash page and full page from the character’s story.
And keep checking the 13 DAYS OF SUPER WEIRD HEROES Index, where you can find links to all our other entries! Click here.
Oh, and yes, a SECOND volume is already in the works!

the part that is weird is that costume imho the south of france isn’t exactly tropical so running around shirtless seems kind of silly to me
