This week, we break out the big guns! Mark Waid, Corinna Bechko and Jimmy Palmiotti are among the comics creators writing for us as we really get going!

So this is the week we turn up the heat and bring you a big raft of fresh material — including pieces written by the aforementioned troika.

See that’s a major part of what we’re doing here: We’re giving creators a place to speak their minds and talk about what makes them tick — and give you an inside glimpse of the comics community and industry.  While you’ll be seeing plenty of news and commentary, this is very much a site about craft and insight. We think that’s a pretty nifty approach to the comicsphere, so my partner Cliff Galbraith and I hope you’ll join us on our strange adventure.

In addition to Waid, Bechko and Palmiotti, these are some of the other bylines and voices you can look forward to seeing in the coming weeks: Shawn Martinbrough, Adam West, Jamal Igle, Dean Haspiel, Fred Hembeck, Seth Kushner, Paul Levitz, Kyle Higgins, Jai Nitz, Aaron Lopresti, Kevin Smith, Dave Stewart and Vivek Tiwary.
