A few thoughts:

— The basic 9″ x 12″ volume runs $49, but there are higher-end, limited editions available, as well. Click here for more info, including how to order.

— Here’s the official description from FPG president Michael Friedlander, accompanied by some more pages — this time showing the master at work:

With a career spanning more than 50 years, Enric Torres-Prat has been involved in almost every area of publishing and fine art, including comics, magazines, paperback books, and gallery exhibitions. Enric has long been a favorite among comics and illustration fans, many of whom were introduced to his work by the incredible cover paintings that he created for Warren Publishing in the 1970’s, in particular, his breathtaking VAMPIRELLA magazine covers.

While equally at home in different genres—from horror, to science fiction, to westerns, and more—Enric is perhaps most revered for his unmatched skills in rendering the female form. His passion and his ability for painting beautiful women make his artwork instantly recognizable. This book contains hundreds of Enric’s wonderful paintings and drawings, including approximately 100 of his fabulous Vampirella oil paintings, half of which have never before been published.

This comprehensive 352-page hardcover book will take you on a journey through Enric’s entire career, from his earliest comic book work, right up to his most recent sought-after private commissions. Also included is a 40-page biography of the artist with many never-before-published photos that provides a deep insight into what makes this amazing artist tick.
