This could be one of the highlights of the year…

We just celebrated the 50th anniversary of Planet of the Apes (click here) — but there’s more to look forward to, you damn dirty apes.

Super7 is showing off updated versions of its upcoming line of 3.75-inch ReAction classic POTA figures at Toy Fair 2018:

Seriously, how cool is this?

The first wave is due in April(ish) and will feature Taylor (sans beard), Nova, Cornelius, Zira, Zaius and Ursus. Each will list for about $15 a pop.

We first saw these at Toy Fair a year ago and they were also shown on last year’s convention circuit. But they were in the unpainted/unfinished stage. This is the first real up-close look at the actual painted prototypes.

Perhaps the best part is that Super7 is also showing off unpainted prototypes for Wave 2, which is due late summer:

That’s a couple of soldier apes there, Urko from the TV show, astronaut Cornelius and a fantastic Lawgiver statue.

Oh, and get this: That mutant you see there? He comes with a removable face! Super7 has two standing there to show you the face-on/face-off effect but it’ll be one figure in the wave. (Looks like Victor Buono, too!)

Neat.

That obstruction at the bottom is a stand they added for the display. But you get the idea.

One last thing: Super7 is also planning a series of POTA drinking glasses, due this spring.

Each will list for about $10:
