Star Wars is HOT!

Of course Star Wars is hot. Star Wars is always hot.

But check out this Kotobukiya ARTFX+ statue two-pack, featuring a Snowtrooper and Flametrooper, complete with gigantic “flame.”

LOOK AT THAT. WHOOOOOOOSHHHH! (Then again, he uses it to burn an innocent village, but what’re you gonna do?)

I’m a big fan of Kotobukiya’s 7-inch-scale ARTFX+ line, so that’s what I’m centering on in this wrap-up.

This year, it was the Star Wars items that drew my eyes the most, with some exceptions I’ll show below. In addition to the villainous two-pack above, there was also an unpainted Poe Dameron prototype with BB-8. It’s the second ARTFX+ BB-8, so to be different, this one will have a “thumbs up” flame accessory.

But you have to give Kotobukiya crazy credit for its upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi — which comes complete with his “Hey, where did he go?” cloak from the original movie.

In DC world, Kotobukiya is pushing further into the TV realm, with ARTFX+ statues from Gotham and Arrow joining the Flash.

Unpainted prototypes

I stopped watching Gotham a while ago, but I still have to say these Gordon and Penguin figures look excellent.

And when it came to Marvel, it was all about Spider-Man.

Classic Spidey, my favorite, goes wide shortly. But dig Miles Morales and Agent Venom too.
