TOY FAIR 2016: The FUNKO Report

As much as anything, what I like about Funko is the name. It’s like something out of a 1960s toy commercial.
Y’know, “By … Funko!”

But the name is also a signifier because so much of what this company produces is, well, fun. You’re not going to find 12-inch, hyper-realistic action figures that will set you back a small fortune.

No, Funko brings you Pop! figures and plushes and ReAction figures and Dorbz and other variations on the theme that toys are supposed to make you smile.

So here are some of the neatest, swellest and ginchiest Funko items I saw at Toy Fair. Some already out, some yet to be released. All fun.
