What?! No way. I so love Star Wars.
Every May the Fourth be With You and Revenge of the Sixth, I throw on one of my Star Wars shirts and toss on a pair of Yoda ears and binge watch for hours on end.
I feel bold enough to say that I know almost as much facts and information about the Stars Wars galaxy as much as I do about the Marvel Universe(s).
I’m not like a dedicated fan who is on top of the franchise 24/7, but I am a fan.

It has always baffled me that Marvel’s Star Wars comic never used the official Star Wars logo (the letters are all drawn differently, but it’s most evident on the “W”).

That was really interesting. It’s fascinating in our age of brand management how little oversight of the trademark there was at Lucasfilm in the first few years. The fact that Stan Lee was allowed to just order the logo redrawn for the comic book shows how different the world was back then.

Some of my favorite Star Wars comics! Issue #56 was the first one I bought new at a comic store, instead of picking them up at 7-11 or as back issues. So, I asked Walt to sign my copy at my first visit to the Baltimore Comic-Con (2005). He signed it in the logo. It had a totally unexpected result; it ruined the cover aesthetic for me! I think I had to buy another copy later. Walt later did a beautiful drawing of Mjolnir clashing with Stormbreaker for me in 2010 in the Tales of Asgard HC. Happy Birthday!!!
