13 DAYS OF KIRBY 100: The Mountain of Judgment!

Welcome to 13 DAYS OF KIRBY 100, our celebration of Jack Kirby’s centennial, produced in conjunction with TwoMorrows Publishing. Over 13 days, we’re serializing the publisher’s forthcoming book KIRBY 100, edited by Jon B. Cooke and featuring essays and artistic contributions by 100 of the biggest names in comics, such as John Byrne, Mike Allred, Marie Severin, Dave Gibbons and many, many others.

Artist Cliff Galbraith is the co-founder emeritus of 13th Dimension. He was here with me at the beginning and though he’s no longer involved with the site, I’m honored to have him back for this celebration of the King. Cliff is one of the biggest Kirby fans I know and 13 DAYS OF KIRBY 100 would not be complete without him.

Cliff’s greatest artistic creation is the cult fave Rat Bastard. But he’s also the power behind the successful East Coast Comicon, held every spring in North Jersey, just across the Hudson from New York City.

Here, Cliff weighs in on one of his fave Kirby images:
