MEZCO’s Groovy New BATMAN ’66 Deluxe Figures Set is Up For Pre-Sale NOW

Holy Five Points!

Funko fumbled the ball with its 3.75-inch Batman ’66 line a few years ago, leaving fans without major characters like the Joker, Penguin and Riddler.

But Mezco has picked up the Bat-gauntlet (to mix metaphors) with a deluxe boxed set of seven retro figures — plus Batmobile and Batcave — that is now up for pre-order at the company’s site. (Click here.)

A few thoughts:

— The set runs $140 and is due to be released between February and April 2021.

— Want to see A LOT more? You definitely do. Click here for a huge photo gallery of the set and its features.

— I love the nod to the Corgi Batmobile with the chaincutter in the front.

— The set is part of Mezco’s 5 Points line — denoting five points of articulation.

— I’m a big fan of Mezco and their quality control, so I expect good things from this line.

  1. I’ll need to get these for the grandkids. The price seems high however. And, a batcave drawing doesn’t seem like much value. Penguin needs to be shorter and rounder. Let’s hope this line does carry all the notable villains and other characters. Wouldn’t mind some death trap apparatus.
