All through October, Marvel is bringing back the classic series What If? as a run of one-shots. And one of the first is What If? Spider-Man #1, which looks at what would have happened if Peter Parker’s bete noire Flash Thompson were the one endowed with powers.
And I actually can’t think of anyone on the planet better suited to tell the tale than Gerry Conway, who scripted the story. The art is by Diego Olortegui and Chris O’Halloran, with letters by Travis Lanham — and we’ve got your EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW for you.
