Al Capp’s Li’l Abner Vol. 9 — a milestone entry in IDW and the Library of American Comics’ series of reprints — hits next week: Li’l Abner and Daisy Mae get hitched! This was such a big deal in 1952 that the sweethearts made the cover of Life magazine. Vol. 9, in fact, shares the same cover art as the magazine cover:
The 256-page hardcover collects the daily and color Sunday strips from 1951 and 1952. It lists for $49.99.
