Here’s Your Chance to Question the Cast From LOST IN SPACE

Send a message to the Jupiter 2.

Cliff Galbraith’s East Coast Comicon at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J., is April 29-30 and I’ll be there — and so will dozens of your favorite comics creators and retro TV stars. (For the full line-up, click here.)

On Sunday at 11:30, I’ll be hosting a panel with four members of the cast from Lost in Space — Angela Cartwright, Mark Goddard, Marta Kristen and Bill Mumy.

Now get this — you can take part: If you have a question for any or all of them, enter it in the comments below. I’ll collect the best and ask them during the panel. (And yes, you can still submit questions if you live too far from the show. If all goes well, I plan on posting the best answers at 13th Dimension sometime in the future.)

And whether you have a question or not, come say hi at the show and come meet the cast. Click here for ticket info.

  1. Loved watching Lost In Space when it first aired and am enjoying watching as many as I can find online. Of all the different guest stars that were on Lost In Space, who was the most memorable to work with?

  2. I had a Lost In Space lunch box as a kid. My family went to some kind of public appearance for LIS in the San Francisco bay area, about 1967 or 1968? I was somewhere between 1st and 3rd grade, and SO excited to meet Will and Penny!

But when we got there, everyone had gone away to lunch except for Jonathan Harris, who was sitting at a table eating a sandwich and looking mightily irritated. I was so crushed I didn’t get to see the rest of the cast that I cried a little.

Not the best experience for a budding fangirl, but it’s been almost 50 years and I hope you had a nice lunch 😀

So I have a few questions for any of the cast members:
What have been your favorite experiences with fans?
What was it like working with Jonathan Harris?
Why do you think they transitioned from having him a villain to comic relief?
Some of the episodes genuinely scared me as a kid. Did you have any scary moments?
Do you think the Space Family Robinson ever made it to their destination, and what would they be doing 50 years in their future?

  3. While we know Bill and Angela eventually dated for a while, the details remain vague. Can you ask them to elaborate on how long they dated, if they or anyone else thought it strange for a TV brother and sister to be dating, and if they have any stories they can tell about that time in their lives.
