DC is releasing its latest solicitations Friday and one of the biggest highlights is the George Perez Poster Portfolio, celebrating the late artist’s work with the publisher.

A few thoughts:
— This is a wonderful way to pay tribute to one of comics’ greatest artists. As you undoubtedly know, Perez, sadly, died just about a month ago.

— Not to be greedy but I would pay some fat bank for a re-release of his famous — and rare — DC postcard set. Then again, perhaps some of those images will be included. Fingers crossed.
