As a once active member and volunteer with the old MoCCA (pre-Society of Illustrators takeover), I’m happy to report they’ve finally done something I’ve been after them for years to do: Announce guests well advance to let fans know who will be appearing! And they’ve gotten some great guests.
The 2014 MoCCA Arts Festival will feature Guests of Honor Alison Bechdel, Howard Cruse, Fiona Staples and Robert Williams. The festival will be held on the weekend of April 5 – 6, 2014 at the 69th Regiment Armory in Manhattan. Additional featured guests will be named in future announcements.

A big change next show will be a flat fee of $5 per day, which will grant all attendees access to the fest including the exhibitors hall, gallery space, and programming. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door. More info over at MoCCA’s page at Society of Illustrators.
